Shell fusiform, elongate, thin, rather small (to 51.3 mm). 7 slightly convex postnuclear whorls. Aperture oval, rather narrow, white and strongly lirate. Siphonal canal rather short for genus. Colouration whitish to light brown, with orange-brown spiral cords. The holotype (51.3 mm) is also in KBIN (Mollusc type no. 470).
